Legacy Strategic Advisory Group exists because significant projects are fragmented by design — many participants, many contracts, many incentives — and the one interest without full-time professional representation is usually the owner's. We built the firm to be that representation: deliberately independent, deliberately senior, and deliberately on one side of the table.
The name is the assignment. What our clients build is meant to outlast the project — a sanctuary, a campus, a property, an institution's next chapter. Our job is to make sure what was envisioned is what gets built, and what gets built is worthy of what it cost.
What we believe
Purpose before project. The building is never the objective; it serves one. Every recommendation we make traces back to what you are actually trying to accomplish — and we put that objective in writing at the start so it governs everything after.
Transparency is the deliverable. An owner who can answer where the money went, why, and what comes next is an owner in control. We consider a project well-run only when its economics and decisions could be defended in front of any board.
Calm is a working method. Construction generates pressure; someone at the table has to metabolize it into decisions rather than drama. We don't manufacture urgency, we don't assign blame in public, and we don't mistake motion for progress.
Stewardship over transactions. We measure ourselves in client outcomes and long relationships, not billing volume. We do not create work so someone can invoice it — and that includes us.
Where we stop
We know exactly where owner-side advisory ends and licensed work begins — and we say so, in writing, every time. Construction belongs to licensed contractors; design to licensed architects and engineers; legal judgment to your counsel; brokerage to licensed brokers. They are engaged directly by you. We coordinate their work and hold it accountable to your objective. We never pretend to be them.
How we carry ourselves
Discretion as policy — your matters are discussed with no one. Candor as method — you hear the honest number and the honest risk from us first, while there is still time to act on it. Structure as habit — decisions framed, documented, and made once. And loyalty as the product — the entire firm is organized so that when we speak, you never have to wonder whose interest is talking.
